/COPPE Promove Encontro Internacional sobre Materiais Compósitos

A COPPE promove, de 9 a 12 de dezembro, a IV Conferência Internacional em Ciência e Tecnologia de Materiais Compósitos – COMAT 2007. Durante o evento, serão apresentados cerca de 130 trabalhos científicos de pesquisadores de mais de vinte e cinco países.

A primeira conferência do Encontro, segunda–feira, às 9 horas, será proferida pelo pesquisador sênior da Boeing, Dr. William Avery, que falará sobre o uso de novos materiais e técnicas na fabricação do Boeing 787 Dreamliner, que promete gerar forte impacto sobre a aviação comercial internacional. O evento será realizado, a partir das 9 horas, no Auditório Pedro Calmon do Fórum de Ciência e Cultura (Campus da Praia Vermelha, Avenida Pasteur, 250).

A conferência está sendo coordenada pelo professor do Programa de Engenharia Civil da COPPE/UFRJ, Romildo Dias Toledo Filho. Confira a programação abaixo.
